WHEN you think of quality makeup at reasonable prices for many Poundland would probably come last on their list.

But one woman managed to cop a bag full of quality makeup essentials when she took a trip down to her local budget store simply to pick up a pack of batteries.

Using the handle r1ya, the Influencer posted on her social media page that she had stumbled across a huge beauty range. 

Riya was clearly surprised with what she found in store. filming the packed shelves which had every makeup item you could think of displayed neatly, she was clearly surprised with the amount of products the store stocked.

From Nail polish, concealer, to make up brushes and bronzes. the budget friendly shop had it all.

She said on the reel: “So guys, I went to Poundland to get some batteries and I actually came across all this makeup and nail stuff which looked really good so I was gonna try it out and share it with you.”

The fashionista was astounded with the range available and picked up some nail varnish in a glittery mint green colour, she copped some nail hardener and some cuticle oil. 

Not finished there she bought some lipstick in Oslo shade, a cute foundation sponge with a handle and some mini sponges which are great for powder applications.

Riya absolutely loved her haul and quickly went home to try out her buys.

First up was the mini sponges. She said: “The Sponge thing with the handle was so helpful when putting on my concealer and the mini sponges were so soft.”

She added: “And the sponges, when using them to apply my makeup left zero crease under my eyes.”

Riya finished the video by showing us a full face of makeup that was created by using the products she bought from the budget friendly store.

Followers quickly flocked to her page to leave comments about her haul. Lily Kate Cox wrote: “Poundland is the plug.” while Zahra added: ”When you go for 1 thing and leave with a basket.”
