Ever since I was little, everyone has praised my long eyelashes. Before the selfie broke out, I never thought too much. At that time I began to hope that my eyelashes looked very long, but also as sweet as you see on models and celebrities in magazines.

So, how can those of us who are challenged by lack of sweet eyelashes create thicker and longer eyelashes? According to Dr. La Farra, there are many options besides traditional mascara. Although mascara is one of the most popular ways to increase the volume of natural eyelashes, Dr. LaFarra cautions against the ingredients. "Using mascara for a long time may cause overgrowth of bacteria, which can lead to eye infections. Mascara may also contain ingredients that can cause irritation or allergies, which may cause your eyelashes to become brittle."
The doctor recommends staying hydrated and getting enough sleep to avoid dark circles and ensure that your eyelashes get the proper nutrients needed for growth. She also recommends using eyelash serum.
"If you have at least six weeks to wait for the results, using serum is a good choice," said Dr. LaFara. "Some serums contain prostaglandins that stimulate follicle growth, but it may darken the skin, so choose carefully."
Another option for enhancing our eyes is magnetic eyelashes.
